Meet the Monkeys

Laura Lind started doing improv as a very young child, thanks to her father, who taught her the fine art of recording improvised radio plays on cassette tapes. Her formal improv training started in Scotch ‘n’ Soda, the student theater group at CMU. Laura has performed improv in Pittsburgh since the early days, when few people knew what improv was. She was a founding member of Flying Pig Theatre’s Reality Optional and also performed with Pittsburgh Theatresports. Laura is a founding member of The Amish Monkeys, and continues to be thankful to be a part of such a great group.

Fun Fact: In her job as an early childhood music teacher, Laura estimates that she has sung “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” 17,253,019 times.
